Everyone are going through.. Stuff. So much stuff. Difficult emotions, a lack of clarity, lingering sadness that won’t go away, agitation and increased reactivity.
Some of the emotionally intelligent ones, or those leaning towards Zen practices of non-attachment, are already in the right direction of not letting it overpower them. Instead, they position themselves as the observers. Watching their emotions come and go, giving them space to move through them. Well done. But. Where is it really coming from? And what is really happening under the surface?
What if there are little uninvited guests, running the show without your consent.. Like hidden directors that no one appointed for the position?
Exposure to toxicity is inevitable in today’s world. Well, unless you live somewhere in nature real far.
We all know that toxins are, well, toxic. But there is a gap between this point, to the full realization of how far it can influence your entire sense of “You”. Not everything you consider “You” is actually you. You’ve just gotten used to it – Got used to something that doesn’t belong to you, and embraced it as part of your personality. Because it creeps in slow.
And when it comes to negative emotions, there is even an addictive element to it. Why? Because it makes you feel alive, and you start to like the feeling of strong feelings. Can’t do without it. Its almost like your brain is craving for it, and you need to go through a withdrawal period to reset the meter on what normal even is.
The brain is located inside this body, is connected to all other systems, and is nourished by how we eat. And what we feel as our feelings, is very much our nervous system at play. Also, another part of the same body, connected to all other parts. Among them the endocrine system – all the glands that are working for you 24/7 making hormones, the exact hormones that make you feel the way you do. And let’s not forget who’s in charge for hormone metabolism – the liver. The same organ that is meant to filter the blood and eliminate waste and toxins from the body.
The illusion of separation is coming from the way modern medicine is built, with a different specialist for all the different parts of the body, and is happening again with the separation between the “body” specialists and the “mind” specialists. How come? It is one and the same. And this unit is easily influenced by it’s surrounding eco-system.
And it doesn’t end with any one separated person – it throws off the whole social dynamic in our society.
What can we do? There are a lot of tools, and several angels to take into consideration. But for now – Let’s focus on two simple things to add to your daily life : Barley Grass Juice Powder, and Spirulina. Easy. Always start with a minimal dose before gradually increasing. See how your body reacts, and give your system some time to get used to anything new. These two green powders are a mighty weapon to clear your body from the junk, while at the same time abundant with vitamins and minerals. It’s a win-win. Simply blend it into any smoothie and you are good to go.
